Android rooting is basically something lik what its name suggests... it is the process by which we can enter into the administrative level commanding or can apply whatever changes possible with an android phone with zero restrictions.
Rooting basically help to unlock factory locked features of an android phone ... For the well being of android gadget , by default all manufactures will setup some restrictions and by rooting., All that restrictions are taken out and being the boss of our own gadget is termed as rooting.
Now you will have some doubts... Why we should root our devices..? If it brokes the manufacures lock , which have been put for the well being of our .. device ???
Yes.. Here comes the answer , Almost all android brands like samsung , sony , htc won't provide updates to all its models , despite of flahship phones,. Which are almost priced a little more than a common man can afford.. So the only way to get an update to the latest android version is by Rooting.
Its not only the reason why you should root your phone... Rooting enables a wide variety of features on android platform that can be avhieved by using third party applications....
Including moving apps to sdcard , installing apps that need a root permission , customizing phone , flashing a new rom , increasing ram using external memory card , overclocking or underclocking cpu , increase battery life etc
Rooting alone..wont do much changes to your phone , Flashing with a new ROM is what you should do immediately after rooting.
Rooting is mainly a simple process and does not harm devices , Literally. But flashing a custom rom would do ., If it is not properly handled. Before flashing a rom you should look for the best and suitable rom for your devices, dont be in a panic... Google it , find it and flash it....!!!!
